Emil H. Takeuchi

Specialties:

  • Martial Arts/Self defense
  • Diet and Menu Development
  • Strength and Conditioning

Bio:

Emil is a unique entity in the fitness field as he is not only physically active with knowledge of fitness and weight loss but he is also a trained chef and specializes in healthy cuisine.

Emil’s culinary journey began in Cambridge, MA at the acclaimed “Atrium Dining Room” located in The Harvard Inn. From there Emil has gained extensive culinary knowledge while working for the Four Seasons Hotel, The Sports Club/LA, and critically acclaimed chef, the “Iron Chef” Masahauru Morimoto.

It was at the Sports Club/LA where Emil was able to showcase his love for healthy alternative cuisine, and create a great dining experience for those who wanted to eat healthy, and offered menus and cooking classes. Emil has demonstrated his Healthy Culinary Menu on Fox 5 news, and has appeared on “Sports Talk” with Glenn Harris on News channel 8.

Although Emil’s culinary knowledge and experience may sound impressive, his physical background is an equal match. Emil has been taking martial arts since the age of four, and poses a black belt in Shorin Ryu, and Uechi Ryu Karate. Emil is actively training in: MMA, Krav Maga, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Emil also wrestled in high school, and was ranked one of the top wrestlers in his division. He understands the dynamics of gaining muscle and constantly making weight. Emil has also trained and completed the first Boston Harbor Triathlon.

Emil’s training background is mostly in Children’s Karate/self defense, and Women’s self defense classes. He brings a unique method of both martial arts and weights to help while offering a menu plan to go along with your work out program.

As a parent Emil understands the growing concern of child obesity and hopes to form a Kids work out boot camp, where he can educate both the parents and the children the importance of proper nutrition and physical activity.

Emil’s philosophy is simple.
